Shuttle's Report - Duxford 10 June 2014.

Nice weather today and a lot of work to repair the AirSpace roof (damaged over winter). The Sabre seemed to be doing a 'handover' to a new pilot which possibly reinforces the rumours of it being sold. Bad news if it has and is leaving the UK?

Hanger 2 currently has several Spitfires in it including 3 airworthy Spitfire Mk I/II's. Totally unique. Here is one of them still in the Eagle Squadron colours it had painted on for last years 'Legends'.

Talking of which, any guesses on this new arrival at TFC? Will it be ready for July? Finally, some RAF Grobs were hanging around, the Shackleton is losing even more bits and the British Antarctic Survey aircraft is still parked up. The Me-108 was looking very good.
