The American
Air Day is one of the best events on the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage
Centre’s calendar and returned in 2014, following a year’s hiatus. Naturally, a
US theme prevailed with a selection of historic American aircraft displaying
during the afternoon, accompanied by period vehicles and re-enactors to add to
the atmosphere. Greg Marsh takes up the day’s action.
