Sabre Returns to the Skies at Temora Aviation Museum.

The RAAF CA-27 Sabre will return to the skies over Temora this Saturday 5th July as it takes part in Aircraft Showcase – “WWII to Korea”.

Aircraft Showcase Days are a traditional event at the Temora Aviation Museum and will be held on the first and third Saturday of most months with the aim of providing visitors with a personal, interactive and in-depth experience with some of the Museum’s aircraft.

This will be the Sabre’s first flight since early April and Squadron Leader Paul Simmons is looking forward to getting back in the seat again.

Accompanying the Sabre this Saturday will be Temora Aviation Museum’s Supermarine Spitfire Mk XVI and Lockheed Hudson, conditions will be cool but great flying weather is forecast.
