A-36A Apache takes to the air!!!

The Florida Warbirds Blog reports that the Collings Foundation A-36A Apache has taken to the air. The aircraft has been under restoration.

The A-36 Apache is the dive bomber variant of the P-51 Mustang. It uses the Allison V-1710 and is recognizable by the slatted dive brakes above and below the wings. It also retained the 2 machine guns below the nose.
