In August 2003 F-16D Block 52 #99-1535 went to
Edwards AFB 416 FLTS test center. In August
of 2004 it was one of 16 F-16D Block 52 delivered to the HAF under Peace Xenia
III and assigned to 343
Mira (Squadron) "Star (Asteri)" serial #601.
On March 3rd 2003 the 340th Fighter Bomber Squadron
was reformed as the 340 Mira "Fox (Aleppou)" (Squadron) with the new F-16 Block 52
aircraft. In 2009 #601 was transferred to 340 Mira/115 CW (Fighter Wing) at Souda AB, on Crete.
