Shuttle's been to Duxford this weekend attending the Duxford Autumn Show and did a photo commentary of proceedings. The weather clearly wasn't as pleasant as it could have been.
First comment yesterday.
I will be going - just to see the 3 jets...!! This was just arriving today and did a practise display.

It was chucking it down as I was driving early this morning but the forecast is for things to (hopefully) improve. Normal diecast outlets but not much on offer. A 'higher call' set for £150 and the latest Tornado F3. No new Aviation72 which is a bummer as I was hoping the new Gazelle or Bulldog might be out.

The B-17 is getting ready for a 1.30pm start to the airshow. The weather is still holding.......

The Apache has just arrived.

The last display for 'Sally B' for 2013. The Lynx is just firing up now.

The Wildcat and Bearcat have just displayed along with a bevy of TFC Hawks. However, just as the Catalina took off the rain has come back. The Canberra is cancelled as well.

It got very dark during the rain shower but thankfully it has now stopped. I might wait for the Hunter and then make a move. The Sabre has gone 'tech' as well......!

It has brightened up a bit but still plenty of cloud around. The Buchon's are currently flying and the Chipmunk and Piper Cubs have just been up.

Raining again but the Apache and the T-28 Trojans are getting ready to display.

The Hunter's just finished its display and I am off home. An interesting display despite the weather. It looks like Flapjack has put the Hunter up for sale so possibly the last display for this fabulous aircraft.
