Shuttle from DAF has received his copy of Corgi's latest Catalina release and posted some of his thoughts.
I received the production Catalina yesterday and happy to report that it is a very fine release. Some very good news, Corgi have listened to feedback and produced the correct beaching trolley for the Catalina - something that had been missing from the previous non amphibious version.
No front undercarriage part is included and the correct 'plug' for the door is in position so all correct! The colours and markings look fine and there were no QC issues on my sample. With the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbour this week it is a very timely release.
