Corgi AA27502 RCAF Short Sunderland III 422 Squadron.

Shuttle posted some pictures of the new Corgi 1/72 RCAF Short Sunderland III on DAF.

Here are some better pictures. It is a 'hefty' model with some weight to it. The panel lines are typical Corgi and I do think the flash over emphasized this in the previous pictures.

What is good is that all the feedback seems to have been implemented (a very short 'turn around' on this model). The rear turret does have a slight 'stagger' to the 4 x .303's but it could do with a tad more.

For me the big difference is the lack of external aerials, instead having the nicely done wing blisters. The scheme is very striking and has been well executed.
