Richard Lake’s Spitfire Mk FR.XVIIIe SM845, registered as G-BUOS, made one of its first public appearances in the hazy winter sun at IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire, on 11 December 2013, giving us a glimpse at the aircraft’s beautiful new post-war scheme.
