A new Spitfire scheme for Spitfire 1a AR213 (as P7308). It looks fantastic and is now ready for the 'Eagle Squadron' formation that will display at the next air show. They will also tour some famous US bases in the UK on the day after the air show.
As I stood there taking the photo's I could only think that no where else on the planet can you see two airworthy Mk 1's next to each other (I think I am correct?) - fantastic.
The WWI tank is being stripped down and the British Antarctic Survey Twin Otter was also hanging around.
