A rare Grumman F3F-2 flew again recently at Sonoma Valley Airport in California, with pilot and restorer Chris Prevost at the controls. It was one of several F3Fs that were recovered from Hawaii and rebuilt in Texas. This F3F was operated for many years by the Lone Star Flight Museum. After a hurricane flooded the museum the aircraft was sold.
