New for Hobby Master in July is the Japanese T-4 trainer in the Blue Impulse livery in 1/72. This comes as something of a surprise and is clearly aimed at the Asian market.
Hawks, Alpha Jets and Macchi MB326 and MB339 for example would be higher up on the list of priorities in the European and even American markets I'd suggest. Hopefully this bodes well for more jet trainers in future.
In 1/72 we have a Grumman Avenger off USS Intrepid and the usual fast jet fair in the form of F-22A Raptor, 433rd Weapons Squadron "The Satan'a Angels", F-106A Delta Dart, Montana Air National Guard and the CF-18 "Centennial Hornet".
The Hornet would go well the the likes of the Hawk One Voodoo and makes for an interesting collecting theme.
In 1/48 scale we have a Belgian Spitfire Mk.XIV and P-51D "Detroit Miss" flown by 1st Lt. Urban Drew of the 361st FG. The are two versions, one of which is a special edition with the pilot's signature on the metal stand.
