Hendrik Venter's team returned ex-Swiss Vampire, U-1214 (ZU-VMP) to the air again. Flown by father and son team of Richard and Tony Smit, the flight went well other than the undercarriage, which failed to retract, despite working flawlessly on the jacks beforehand. The Vampire is owned by Dr Eugene Meyer.
