DH Mosquito nears completion in Canada.

I received an email from my mate Jack out in Canada that contained two interesting photos of a DH Mosquito being restored at Victoria Air Maintenance Ltd. in North Saanich, near Victoria, British Columbia. The aircraft was being fueled prior to its first engine run-ups.

There is a Mosquito being rebuilt at my local airport, just up the road from me. It has been a work in progress for quite some time now, but a buddy from work just sent me this. :)  He used to work at the airport, and has a bit of an inside scoop on what is happening.

I have known about this project for a while now, but it is very low key. Not really advertised at all, but very cool and looks like she is almost done.  The airport is "international" but not huge, and about 15 miles north of me. I pass it everyday going to work.

Corgi Gloster Gladiator AA36210 - production model.

Here are some quick photos of the production release of the new Corgi TFC Gloster Gladiator. I think all of the feedback given made it into this release and the quality is very good. Nice rigging, good colours and the markings are spot on. It is the ideal companion to the first Shuttleworth Collection release.

Corgi AA35311 RAF B-25 Mitchell II - production model.

Here is the production release of the Corgi AA35311 RAF B-25 Mitchell II. First off, the 'Elephant in the room' - it is still a 'tail sitter'. I did my best to raise this as an issue but I fear it is still the H&S rules...... I will again feed it back to Corgi and see if this is an on-going problem.

Overall, the model looks very good. Again, it looks like the feedback has been acted upon but Corgi have put in the front machine gun. Some photos show this not fitted. All of the markings and colours look good.
