Hobby Master releases for August.

Some great new models from HM including the F-102 for those into American Cold War jets and also some interesting new schemes, most notably, two Euro 1 schemes for the F-4E and F-105!!!! Very, very nice. Another biggie is the new Australian AF F-111 Aardvark. In 1/200 there's the new C-97 too!!! Not to be forgotten is the stunning Stanford Tuck 1/48 Spitfire.

Meeting new collectors.

This week also provided the opportunity to meet some local collectors who made their first purchases on Bid or Buy. It's always great getting to meet folks who share the same passions so I delivered the models personally.

If fact I spent quite a bit of time visting, one gentleman was very passionate about his car collections, Audi RS models in 1/18 and 1/43 as well a Ford, predominantly 1/18 mid to late '60s Mustangs but also with a few Cobras, Capris and F-100s thrown in. Quite stunning actually!!!

He also has an extensive collection of old Dinky and Matchbox planes as well as a large Model Power aircraft collection. More interesting though was his collection of Tin Tin books!!! I was blown away!!! Really a very nice week this!!!

Tracking down the Beast!!!

We've had great success lately tracking down very hard to find models. After searching unceasingly for what felt like years for a Dragon C-5 Galaxy, we found one recently and then suddenly uncovered even more than ever before!!! After sourcing the one for a collector we found some more, 4 different models in fact, and sourced two more for a very happy collector!!!

In addition we're bringing in two long discontinued Century Wings USAF A-7D Slufs. What a find!!! In addition, we're concluding negotiations for the first 1/72 scale Corgi B-17 release, Memphis Belle. I'm sure there'll be one or two happy collectors out there in the next few weeks!!!
